Carl Reese, local DJ, who advised them to polish up the writing
and re-do the recording. When it was finished Reese took it to Buddy
Zellman, local producer who released it on his label, Buddy records,

unit that cut little 78 RPM phonograph records. Proctor still has
this, his first record, along with some wire recordings made later
